Position Description
Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency
Assumes duties of the Senior Manager, Strategy, Innovation in the absence of the Senior Manager, Strategy, Innovation
Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results
Develops tools that support decision making and business cases
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Innovation Department
Ensures business needs are being met
Helps drive change
Identifies and influences stakeholders
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Minimum Qualifications
1 year experience using intermediate functionality of word processing, presentation, or spreadsheet software (for example, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
1 year of supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree in Arts, Sciences, Business, or related field and 2 years experience in project management, operations management, or related field OR 4 years experience in project management, operations management, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience leading project teams to solve problems.
1 year of supervisory experience.
2 years experience using Wal-Mart systems (for example, Clarity, REMEDY).
3 years Wal-Mart experience leading teams in engineering, information systems, distribution, logistics, replenishment, HR, store operations, supply chain, transportation, strategy innovations, finance, or customer service area.
3 years experience in retail.
3 years experience managing multiple projects.
